Yes seniors are always harsh and strict why?. The answer to such kind of question is foolish and there are exceptions about logic but truth never demands evidence and proof. Seniors are always harsh because the seniority is the name of completion of task,goals and acceptance of commands as are govern by top level authorities, because all kinds of force are repealing only one mind,all burden are compressing on body so discharging, dealings, accepting of kinds of challenges are very difficult but not impossible task for a manager, so managers are harsh.
Because managers are coordinating different activities in an organization and those some time in thousands numbering activities are creates pressure,burden, difficulties, possible happening changes,raising conflicts lower level subordinates,changing conditions of internal and external forces cause and creates problems,raise issues,and put all burden on only one boy who is seating and charing lower level, middle level positions. So managers are harsh.
Sometimes some seniorities are very harsh because their genetic make-up are as,as they behave with subordinates and with low level workers. Although this habit is very dangerous for some seniorities and authorities but there are conditions "how to deals with others" accordance with situations, accordance with time and accordance with requirements. So sometimes seniors are harsh and behave very strictly with others, subordinates and with those who are discharge their duties under those hash people.
Sometimes environment and environmental conditions are unfriendly and unfavorable to create situations that cause and arose powerful burden so seniorities are harsh and cause anguish troubles for lower and subordinates people.
As a new and young student of learning behavior, learning about dealing with others, learning "how to convey massage successfully to others people and lean something new . Yes watching, observing and noting the behavior of authorities and seniors level people,my information, my knowledge and my thinking about those seniorities and authorities.
Please help me and help me in learning some thing new about" why senior are so harsh ".
Please think about a joint family where father is most senior and bear all kinds burdens on his shoulders, responsible to complete the tasks of responsibilities and father seniority indicates that all family members accept the commands,advise,suggestions and role of seniority. Here if some family member ignore or disobey the guidelines of senior is cause of conflict and row,but reality of responsibilities can't loose the threads of net connections why because somewhere senior is answerable and responsible for next and future results and all next age appearing possible negative consequences.
Yes same above is try for all level seniorities and seniorities are" responsible and answerable ",to next top level position holding authority, due to these possibilities sometimes seniors can't bear the burdens of those weighting action and reactions so managers and authorities are so harsh.
If subordinates can't achieve tasks,can't complete work on time,show irregularities, ignore guidelines, put under feet's the advise and disobey from senior behavior then naturally senior are harsh and strict.
Seniority level indicates the behavior level, characters, personality, education level and dealing, commanding, controlling skills, practice time period, conveying successful message to/for others people and some more so training skills. These person qualities indicates the " behavior with others ",on the base of internal abilities+ competencies and speaking power that cause " situational harshness ", and this case resonance of skill of dealing with others people.
"Proud is a curse", some proudly people acting as a senior cause and create problems for subordinates, habits and nature also indicates the" behavior points"for other "how to observe situations as are relevant and related with real cause of roots of burning issues.
As every body likes,dislikes and habits are different from each others same as seniors habits,nature,dealing, speaking and guiding styles are different,but completely denotes some harsh behavior depending on relevant situations.
Some seniors are foolish and ignorant but with luck they they  try to achieve some top level positions but accordance with time and age can't try to change habits,behavior and dealing with subordinates or others people. Those seniors are harsh and strict at some lines of personality of characters. Those looses the tight gaps of understanding with juniors,subordinates and creates problems for juniors and subordinates workers.
Some rich people are harsh and strict because they think dealing of others peoples are costless and not cost effective for them as their gain and benefits are not match with others people.
Some seniorities ill educated, ignorant and without some people dealing skills gain position at the base of money and wealth but those are dislike by others peoples because those seniors not know the basic of " dealing skills ",with other people.
Remember society and peoples around you like you,meet with you,cooperate with you,help you,like to make friendship with you,respect you,accept as honourable person, not like to ignore you only and only one important and essential point and that point is your" morale ",if you speak politely with other people, others people can reward you best as excellent connection or conversation on at some topic of the society problems. But you have morale weakness and you not know" how to deals with others people ",you are not able to call a good human. If you are a senior and your juniors are not happy with you,not agree with your opinions and dislike your through mind. Please try to bring change in yourself.

Those Seniors  are highly qualify, well educated and have higher interpersonal skills, competencies, abilities and know to ply some important role of " something doing",from others peoples such as subordinates, under control works force people and others society inhabitants.
